Learn to surf with us in perfect weather, perfect waves and with highly experienced, fun and qualified instructors in small groups.

We are passionate about surfing and therefore focus only on giving top quality surf classes!

Surf Canaries Surf School is based at the foot of the sand dunes of Maspalomas in Playa del Inglés - impossible to be closer to the beach!

Our local beach break Playa del Inglés has excellent waves for learning and improving when conditions are right.

Our permanent team of instructors paired with small groups of 1 instructor for maximum 5 students are what sets our surf school apart from others. We will tailor each of our courses to fit your skill level and personal goals - essential for a fun and unforgettable surfing experience!

Great team and super fun factor

A great experience with super guidance from the crew. Everything explained very understandable and always improvement notes on the technique. It’s worth it! However, no master has fallen from the sky and I booked two more days on site (with discount).

My son and I took two days lesson at Surf Canaries on 11+15 th of August.
We both had a great time and lots of fun. With the help of Francesca and Carlos I (sometimes) managed to stay on the board. My son really got the hang of it and almost looked like a pro (my opinion). We really enjoyed the waves and the exitement.
Sore muscles afterwards was the proof that we had a physical and great experience. If you are looking for a great time do not hesitate to book some lessons at Surf Canaries. You won't be dissapointed!

Best school for personal guidance

Took a couple of lessons last september. I’ve had a great time then. Instructors immediately notice what you are having trouble with and at what level you are. They are very well trained and give you personal feedback. I went back in June and took another lesson, because the first time was a great experience.
If you’re learning to surf and you get stuck at some point, book a lesson with Surf Canaries. They will help you a lot. Real eye-opener for me.

A great experience from first contacting Surf Canaries through surfing to relaxing in the beach post surf. Danny and the team were fantastic offering really good instruction, combined with bucket loads of enthusiasm, that ensured the whole group managed to catch waves and stand on the board. Would definitely go back.

We are two oldies and a young man with learning difficulties, autism etc but who is a good swimmer and who loves the water. Surf Canarias could not have been more helpful, and my son kept riding high waves like a jack in the box without even getting
his face or feet wet, although he never actually managed to stand (but did not fall in).
It was loads of fun!
