Kite Surf Beginners Land Course in Gran Canaria

This group lesson takes you through the basics of kite surfing. A professional, IKO certified instructor is assigned between 3 to 4 persons that are inexperienced in kite surfing. The instructors are dedicated and passionate and they are ready to help build your confidence and skill with the safest and most exhilarating methods. The small group ensures the experience is lively without running the risk of being overcrowded. And since every group member is a greenhorn, there is an equal platform for learning and the instructor would be starting right from the basics. It would be a great lesson to take with your partner or family.
Usually, we provide a pick-up and drop-off at your accommodation (in the area of Playa del Inglés/Maspalomas). The whole kite experience takes between 4 and 5 hours (including transfers and gathering equipment). This can be different depending on the weather conditions.
Our instructors will provide you with water and a snack.

The first time I called Pro Surfing, I spoke to Paul who made directly an appointment to meet in the shop in order to discuss my former experience and my plans. This was planned on the same day.
I was very pleased with the meeting and I could directly start my course. I started my lessons with Peppe. He is a very experienced instructor who is able to explain relaxedly and keep the lesson very fun! I made huge jumps in kite level and was able to ride within 2 hours.
I took 2 lessons and than I got my IKO diploma. This is so fast in comparison to other kite surf schools. This is due to the experience of Paul and the instructors and besides, I always got PRIVATE lessons! There is no better way to learn kite surfing.
After getting my IKO diploma I rented equipment, which was brand new and of the best quality. They always helped me with deciding upon the size of my kite. Moreover, when I needed assistance in preparing, launching or dropping my kite, one of the instructors of pro surfing was always there to help on the beach.
Taking the course, they always pick you up sharp on time and bring you back to the accommodation. Even after the course when I started renting, they picked me up and brought me back as well. Communication is perfect and personal preferences are always listened to and answered. It felt like coming home and a new kite family!
I would definitely recommend this kite school. This small and personal kitesurf school is the ideal place to start learning kitesurfing.
