perfect dive experience in Playa del Ingles

My wife and i did 4 awesome dives with Leagues Ahead Diving. At the first day we were picked up at our hotel and were brought to the dive center to do all the paper work. After that we did the first 2 dives and afterwards they brought us back to our hotel. On the second day we again were picked up at our hotel and then drove directly to the divespot for that day. After the 2 dives we were brought back to our hotel again. They even offered to take care of our equipment before we could ask for that. So our wetsuits were nicely clean and dry for our flight back home a few days later. ;) Very convenient.
Absolute gem in Playa del Ingles

I have been spending one week in Gran Canaria with the family and I was lucky enough to find this dive school on my path. They have fantastic reviews and now I know why. The level of commitment, professionalism and quality these guys put into their operation is absolutely mind blowing. I dove two days with them, the first time it was a discover dive with my brother in law which I also joined and James has been fantastic with putting everyone at ease, explaining the various steps and leading a beautiful dive in a comfortable bay of the east coast of the island. The next day I did two more dives for certified divers together with Paulo in another stunning dive spot. During the two days we could see lots of marine life..from octopuses to cattle fish to schools of barracudas, crabs and even two gorgeous sea horses which I had on my wish list for a long time. Diving with these guys is super comfortable…you can WhatsApp them and Sophie will reply in no time and explain what to do, absolutely brilliant and definitely on point…I was really super impressed with the quality and speed of our communication; they will come and pick you up at your hotel, little stop at the dive center for paperwork and try on the gear (they don’t take any risk and that feels great!) and then off in the water. Hands down one of the best dive schools I found around the world so far. Can’t wait to be back in Gran Canaria and dive again with them. Sophie, James & Paulo thanks very much once again for everything, take care and until next time!

Booked two dives and a refresher. Team were really professional and friendly throughout.
Refresh dive was great reintroduction after years away. My instructor was calm friendly and made the experience very enjoyable.
Second dive was just as good and would use them again and reconciled for other divers visiting!

A Ton of Dives!

1st dives since Covid started so a bit rusty.
I'm still a beginner (100 logged dives) so I just wanted to get back in the water and refresh the basics prior to diving in Strangford Lough, the Red Sea and Christmas Island later this year.
Collected from hotel and went to Tufia (nr the Airport), a shore dive site.
As is sometimes the case with shore dives, finning-up was a wobbly experience but OK.
My guides (Kyle and Paulo) were clearly appropriately experienced and very personable.
I wasn't expecting huge amounts of marine life in this location but I was wrong as I saw many brightly coloured nudibranchs (some 7+cm long), a large golden seahorse (~10cm) latched on to a metal box. Saw a lizard fish in the process of consuming a stone fish. So, very happy with the day, excellent service from the Leagues Ahead team. all this at a good price too! Thanks Kyle and Paulo.

Had the best time! Honestly one of the best diving experiences i’ve ever had! Extremely organised from start to finished! Hotel transfer turned up right on time which is very unusual! Dive instructors were extremely friendly and looked after us the whole time! Extremely professional and kept us safe! Equipment was an extremely high standard! Would love to go back!
